A Primer
Welcome, new applicants. We do not charge you for job placement. It is important you supply us w/ all materials needed to present you to clients, although we can start w/ just your resume. E-mail us your resume and we will send you the appropriate paperwork to become registered w/ Heartland.

Full-time hands on position to care for large home on extensive remote property. Must be able to live and work away from urban area. Long road to get to home shopping is required. Work w/ and supervise cleaning crew manage deferred maintenance and cleaning projects when owners are absent. Maintain and supervise vendors and/or contractors needed on the property, receive deliveries, answer phone, take messages and handle mail appropriately. Shopping/errands; all household supplies, menu planning and grocery shopping. Lots of driving in this position. Maintenance and handy man skills required to maintain home, outbuildings and property surrounding the private home; maintain extensive wrought iron work clean, make sure vehicles are service, clean and full of gas. Work full-time and live-in while employer is in residence with a support staff and have extended periods of strictly household management in his absence. Would like this couple to travel with them to provide service and guest services. 10,000sf home on 80 acres needs overall hands-on management with a long-term, dedicated support staff. Woman will oversee overall interior of house including special events. Cooking is a plus but not mandatory. The man will act as the overall property manager, maintenance and project manager for all residences. Both parties must be comfortable serving, must be well spoken, intelligent and flexible. Prefer weekend coverage but employers are flexible with comp-time. Two bedroom accommodations provided with excellent salary for the right long term couple team.

Single man owns the property and entertains frequently. Owner often brings 10-25 guests and travels with his three dogs. This person must manage outside services to keep home clean, stocked and prepared for visitors at all times. Must work well with a butler to provide all guest services; together prepare light meals and have excellent driving skills for grocery shopping, running errands and picking up meals at local caterers. Butler/Valet duties include greeting guests, assisting with luggage, providing drink service, assisting with all audio and video equipment in the home. Private accommodations located in the lower level of the home. Excellent Salary. This could turn into a long-term position with travel to six other homes.

He lives in a three bedroom home on the beach and hopes to enjoy this environment as long as possible. Heartland has placed two caregivers; the most recent has been caring for him for nearly two years. His condition now requires a second full time caregiver to allow for appropriate down time. He is still verbal but quiet and very happy, he is incontinent and uses depends, he is able to feed and bath himself with friendly gentle frequent reminders. Driving, cooking low fat, low salt, low sugar required and light cleaning. Monitor medication and be the liaison with the family and doctors to provide the best,safest care possible. Good salary and beautiful private bedroom and bath in a friendly home on a private beach.
